Dental wax manufacturer in France

French manufacturing expertise for dental laboratories

JCOM Dental develops and manufactures dental waxes in France for dental laboratories, dental technicians, training centres and specialised distributors.

Our expertise is based on raw material selection, formulation, controlled melting and mixing, wax behaviour at different temperatures and consistent manufacturing quality.

This manufacturing tradition began in Burgundy, France, in 1901.

JCOM Dental is today the only French manufacturer specialising in the production of dental waxes.

1901 Our origins in Burgundy

More than a century of dental wax expertise

In 1901, the manufacture of wax products for dental professionals began in Burgundy, France.

Dental wax manufacturing already required a precise understanding of raw materials, melting, moulding, rolling, cooling and softening temperatures.

Novelia became part of this history as a dental wax brand whose products and packaging crossed several generations.

Preserved Novelia packaging confirms that dental wax production was already well established before the Second World War.

Historical archives

Dental wax manufacturing continued during the war

Historic Novelia boxes show that dental waxes were manufactured before the Second World War and that production continued during the conflict despite restrictions and material shortages.
